What You’ll do:
As a Customer Care Placement Student, you’ll work across several teams, areas and functions to support the business to consistently deliver an outstanding, personal customer experience addressing the needs of current and future consumers across the shopping and ownership journey. You’ll gain insight into all aspects of the automotive industry including the regulatory landscape, how we ensure quality and training to all staff, thorough product knowledge and a logistical overview of getting car from factory to customer in how the “direct to consumer” model operates end-to-end. You will get the opportunity to gain insights and learn so much both about the company, the consumers and the products which could be highly valuable if you like to build a future career within Volvo Cars.

How to learn more and apply:
Our placement is open to any university student who is in their penultimate year of a sandwich course (those who will be returning to their final year of study after their placement with us). We have a duty of care to our people and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so we require our undergraduates to be based within a reasonable radius of our Maidenhead office, able to commute reliably to when needed.
Once you have applied, we’ll review your details, and if successful we’ll be in touch to discuss with you further. You’ll be sent an online competency assessment relevant to the role for which you are applying. Upon successful completion, we will invite you to an Assessment Centre in Maidenhead, which will be held on Monday 21st October 2024, where you will meet the hiring manager, view what our workplace has to offer, meet the team and answer any questions that you may have. Please only apply if you are available on this date. A decision will be made shortly after. To support you we will also contribute to your travel expenses up to a certain amount, which we can discuss in more detail if you have been invited to our Assessment Centre.
