What you'll do

Reporting to the Financial Controller UK, the Credit Controller will manage the accounts receivable process for Volvo Genuine Parts Store (VGPS) end customers. The role involves close collaboration with the VGPS Operations Team to review aging receivables and drive efficiencies. The role also involves working with the People Experience team on the Employee Car Ownership Scheme's direct debit process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monthly Aging Reports: Produce and report monthly aging reports for VGPS end customers.
  • Monitor KPIs: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to collections and review with the VGPS Operations Team.
  • Debt Collection: Collaborate with Legal and Insurance third-parties to manage debt collection when legal action is needed.
  • Debt Recovery: Contact debtors, negotiate repayment plans, and address any discrepancies.
  • Customer Communication: Keep track of customer accounts and maintain records of communications.
  • Reporting: Support digital development and report on finance systems.
  • Support for ECOS: Produce monthly aging reports for Employee Car Ownership Scheme (ECOS) customers and review with People Experience.
  • Collaborate: Support Order to Cash (OTC) team and assist the Financial Controller with ad hoc tasks.

What you'll bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Credit Control / Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Analytical skills with an eye for detail.
  • SAP ERP system experience.
  • Ability to work independently and lead within the team.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
