Job Summary:   

As a Technical Analyst within our Data Integration area, you'll play a vital role in driving the digital transformation of Volvo Cars USA. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports technical design and documentation for integrations, cloud processes, data lakes, and support initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and innovation that sets Volvo apart in the automotive industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate seamlessly with Business Analysts, developers, product owners, and architects to comprehend business requirements and translate them into robust technical design specifications.
• Utilize your technical prowess to analyze complex data, such as database queries and API outputs, and recommend optimal design patterns for solutions.
• Take a lead role in establishing release management processes and upholding development standards, ensuring the integrity of designs.
• Partner with architects and developers to create solutions that bridge the gap between technical limitations and business requirements.
• Shape and maintain security and access models for resources, contributing to a secure and controlled environment.
• Craft comprehensive technical documentation to ensure seamless communication between business and technical teams.
• Contribute your expertise to support initiatives by identifying and resolving issues and testing monitoring solutions.

Key Competencies/Abilities:

• Bring at least 3 years of experience as a Technical Analyst, demonstrating proficiency in technical problem-solving.
• Showcase domain experience or an eagerness to learn about various product areas.
• Demonstrate practical experience with databases, APIs, and cloud services.
• Leverage your familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms to enhance our solutions.
• Communicate effectively through both technical documentation and interpersonal skills, facilitating discussions between business and technical teams.
• Bonus points for experience in the following areas:
  • Knowledge of data marts or data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with next-generation integration, including MuleSoft’s iPaaS platform and API-First approach, as well as Heroku.
  • Exposure to the automotive industry.
