Senior Retail Programs Manager

Job Summary: This role will be the leader in our Retail Programs team to create and drive growth and maximize sales through this channel.  This leader will play a key role creating and developing new initiatives to generate incremental retail sales. 


 
Principal Responsibilities:

•    Develop and execute a Retail Programs strategy and tactical initiatives to drive growth, maximize sales volume and profit potential in the retail program sales channels: Overseas Delivery, U.S. Military Overseas Sales, Affinity and A-Plan 
•    Identify new growth opportunities to further grow and develop retail programs sales channels 
•    Manage and achieve retail program sales targets to meet or exceed planned sales and financial targets.
•    Develop and optimize A-Plan and Affinity VME offers to enhance sales performance  
•    Business owner for the development and execution of the annual business plan.  Identify the marketing needs of the retail sales business and collaborate with Marketing to develop an annual marketing plan to support growth initiatives. 
•    Support field teams and retailers through training initiatives to raise awareness of the incremental sales volume and profit opportunities at the local market level 
•    Raise organizational awareness to establish collaborative relationships with VCUSA business units to drive retail program sales and customer experience initiatives

 

Knowledge/ Competencies/Abilities:

•    Minimum 15 years retail or program management experience 
•    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
•    MBA preferred
•    Excellent knowledge of sales, marketing, financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting
      and forecasting   
•    Strong negotiation skills to effectively negotiate with a multitude of business partners
•    Effective leadership skills related to problem solving, decision making and team building
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
