Sales Force Lead 

Mahwah, NJ

 

We are looking for an individual who can help us continually improve and enhance our integrated Salesforce platform. The candidate will have responsibility of end to end engineering tasks that spans the platform and includes various activities such as analysis and design, troubleshooting, development and testing, implementation of health checks and monitoring solutions, documentation, and management of managed package upgrades, etc.  This role requires the candidate to be the advocate for the Salesforce Platform as top priority compared to product-focused projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute quarterly plan of platform maintenance activities including software upgrades and maintenance improvements to ensure the platform is running at top performance. 
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions on the Salesforce Platform that may reside across SalesCloud, Experience Cloud, and/or Service Cloud, etc. utilizing minimal customization.
  • Implement Data Dictionary for all objects and align with product teams to keep it updated.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects regarding the architecture and high-level design of platform improvements.
  • Drive the adoption of Salesforce best practices and development standards for technical and testing teams to follow.
  • Key Participation in requirements workshops, design reviews and other meetings where Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts may discuss the platform.  Work closely with Solution Architects and Team leads to layout pros and cons of various solutions.
  • Central resource with ownership of managed package upgrades and implementations.  Required to be hands on to analyze, implement, and test managed packages.
  • Perform code reviews of technical teams to ensure proper coding standards to Salesforce Best Practices including test classes and governor limits.
  • Think creatively to balance the demands of client needs with technical best practices.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related experience
  • 5+ years of direct experience with developing, configuring, and implementing successful Salesforce project implementations
  • Proficiency in the Salesforce.com development environment including custom objects, Apex, Visualforce, Force.com, IDE, Triggers, Migration Tools, Communities and Web Service integration
  • Experience with managed packages and AppExchange
