Regional Pre-Owned Manager - Northeast

Job Summary:   


Lead Regional efforts to maximize the success of Volvo’s Pre-Owned Programs.


Principal Responsibilities:


This individual will work closely with National Pre-Owned and Regional Market Teams to identify high potential retailers and implement strategies to increase regional CPO/Pre-Owned sales, profitability, and customer retention.

  • Actively consult with Retailers and Region Market Teams on pre-owned strategies to maximize retailer profitability.
  • Work with Retailers to identify opportunities to improve pre-owned programs and share this feedback regularly with National Pre-Owned team.
  • Ensure timely communication with market teams and retailers regarding all aspects of Certified Pre-Owned Program.
  • Analyze CPO/Pre-Owned trends and identify opportunities for improvement at the retailer, market and regional levels.
  • Support national Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles marketing strategy at both the Tier 2 and Tier 3.
  • Work closely with the market teams to ensure the retailers are leveraging the benefits of the 360 Program.
  • Communicate retailer objectives and hold retailers accountable for performance.


Key Competencies/Abilities:

  • Broad knowledge of retailer automotive operations with a minimum of three years of pre-owned experience acquired through either an OEM or Retailer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or other relevant disciplines. MBA preferred.
  • Sales Aptitude: Previous sales experience, competitive nature, ability to build and nurture relationships.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ambitious, high energy, easy to converse with, team player, positive attitude.
  • Leadership Potential: Exhibits strong propensity for leadership.
  • Adaptable: Ability to adapt and prioritize with changing, fast-paced situations.
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Strong analytical and financial skills (Retailer Financial Statements and Retailer Operating Composite
