Product Manager – Online sales experience US

We are on a mission to create Volvo Car’s online flagship store – the place where users fall in love with, and purchase, Volvo cars.

For the further development of online sales - we will strengthen our product organization with a Product Manager, leading the localization team for the US market, meaning adjusting and improving the global product portfolio for the user needs more specific in the US. The team will also discover and deliver products focusing on the US market, but with a global scope in mind.

What you’ll do
Youwill be part of a team of engineers, UX specialists, analysts, and scrum masters. You will develop product strategy and define product roadmap based on an integrated understanding of customer behavior, business direction, anticipated market trends and the possibilities of technology. You will communicate strategy and roadmap to stakeholders and your product team, getting input and buy-in. 
 
You will develop the long-term product vision, tactical product release strategy, and drive execution of product releases – working closely and collaboratively with other key functions within Volvo Cars like marketing, brand and offer teams, in addition to our technology organization.
 
You and your skills
You are a customer-obsessed leader for your consumer-facing digital product, and accountable for its success. You have a passion for the customer and creating user experiences that are best-in-class, using a data-driven approach. You solve problems going from the customer to how the technology works; and have an ability to quickly translate customer opportunity or need into product and technology dependencies. We see that you value designing user-centric experiences with deep empathy for the customer, specific to true consumer needs based on consumer insights and data. We also believe that you have an entrepreneurial mindset, motivated by commercial success.

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or graduate degree preferred; education concentrated in business or technology fields is preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in product management for consumer digital products, preferably within e-commerce
  • Expertise in and experience with consumer-facing mobile web and/or apps is highly preferred
  • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and associated tools preferred
