Incentive Inquiry Analyst

Job Summary: 

This function is responsible for supporting the Volvo Car USA and Canada retailer network with inquires related to incentive program offers and incentives. The position is also responsible for supporting Incentive Analysts with implementation of incentive programs offers.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Investigate retailer inquiries on incentive payments, which includes researching Retailer sales incentives, reviewing documentation, verifying non-payment or overpayment in Volvo Systems, reviewing incentive issues with Retailer office manager, providing recommendations for approval/denial of claims to operational personnel, processing and monitoring all Retailer appeals and exceptions.
  • Work with Incentive Analysts to develop continuous improvements to sale programs concentrating on short-, mid-, and long impact to inquiry activity.
  • Prepare ad-hoc inquiry and sales incentives analysis.
  • Resolve incentive payment issues by coordinating efforts of Incentives Analyst, IT Support, and Volvo Finance.
  • Assist Incentive Analysts with announcements, programming and payment activities.
  • Work with Incentive Analyst to verify incentive payment parameters in SAP are in line with program announcements.
  • Upload incentive payments into SAP system on monthly basis.
  • Provide consultation, guidance and training to Retailers regarding incentives and incentive claims.
  • Provide incentive support to Volvo Car USA operational personnel/management as needed.
  • Maintain Volvo Incentives Dashboard in PowerBi.

 

Key Competencies/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • General knowledge of new / used car incentive program which is typically acquired through 0-3 years of experience in related role.
  • Has a knowledge of the retail automotive business.
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel, SAP and Data Visualization preferred.
  • Analytical with business acumen.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Detail oriented with attention to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Leads by example, fostering teamwork and mutual support.
  • Keeps people informed; keeps channels of communication open.
  • Ability to embrace and facilitate change.
