What’s in it for you

  • Currently we are looking for a Head of Head of Workplace Operation – Americas to lead the regional Workplace Operations team based in Americas. You would be a driving force in developing, delivering, and fulfilling, Volvo Cars Workplace Operations strategy together with the team of specialists. The role is positioned within the Workplace Operation umbrella, but we are looking for someone who are to represent the whole Workplace organization in Americas, covering Workplace Operation, Workplace Experience and Health, Safety & Security.
  • This role reports to Global  Head of Workplace Operations.


What you’ll do

  • In the role as Head of Workplace Operation – Americas your main tasks, together with the team, will be to deliver on identified priorities, optimizing business related to facility management, construction projects and other key Workplace operations. You will ensure interaction within the company with relevant stakeholders and interact with external parties, such as landlords, to ensure delivery of agreed plan.


You and your skills

  • Being part of a global team, with its own resources spread across continental US and premises all over Americas, the successful candidate will have a broad leadership experience on a senior level, and being able to manage a team, and be managed, at a distance. You can align corporate strategies with local deliveries and act independently in line with company priorities and procedures.
  • On a personal side, you a strong communicator who has proven ability to network and build trust, on all seniority levels.  You are comfortable with driving change throughout an organization and have strong business/financial acumen with shown ability to deliver complex projects. You are open to new ideas, you take initiatives and have high moral and integrity.  To succeed you need to have a broad general understanding of real estate, facility management, workplace culture, health & safety as well as security. 
  • Last but not the least you act as a role model and show courage, judgement, and persuasiveness at work.
