Digital Solution Architect

We have an immediate opening for a Digital Solution Architect to spearhead, design and develop the architecture to bridge our multiple products and platforms together to deliver world-class transactional and analytics solutions and implement Legacy modernization.

Technical Skills

• Middleware/Integration Developer
  • Integration strategy and design between our multiple platforms and tools: Salesforce, Legacy/Global and Analytics
  • Understand and document Legacy Platform (Mainframe, AS/400, iSeries) applications and help modernize using latest technologies
  • Design interoperability and connectivity between cloud solutions (AWS and Azure) and on-prem Legacy systems and Salesforce.
  • Design and implement microservices architecture and define integration patterns.
  • Expertise in creating SOAP and/or REST Web Services for large volume enterprise consumption using Open API specification.
  • Experience in using Jenkins, SonarQube and various CI/CD tools
  • Design and development of Services/APIs using Springboot, Java, Apache Camel, OpenShift, AWS, API Gateway
  • Install and support middleware Java/J2EE Application servers like Tomcat and IBM WebSphere.
  • Application Architecture
    • Analyze, define, and document system architecture and design for business processes, data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks, and controls
    • Knowledge in Cloud Native technologies (AWS/Azure)
    • Knowledge of standards in IT architecture and infrastructure for Middleware Web technologies
    • Experience in core Java and J2EE technologies

Non-Technical Skills

• Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical business users from various backgrounds including sales, support, and marketing
• Strong technical writing skills. The ability to take the lead role in developing comprehensive solution design documents, application architecture, integration architecture, non-functional requirements (NFR), and deployment documentation.
• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies
• Very strong customer service focus
• Ability to self-manage multiple competing priorities
• Self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground
• Experience with both agile and waterfall implementation methodologies

Technical Qualifications

• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in Technology solutioning
• A minimum of 6+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud/datalake platforms, cross platform architecture and integrations
  • Salesforce PaaS
  • Azure/AWS
  • Kubernetes (Java or Python)
  • Integration technologies (Mulesoft, Heroku, SSIS, etc)
  • Scalable micro-services architecture 

Desirable Certifications / Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Salesforce Integration & Application Architect Certification
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and/or Solution Architect or equivalent

Required on site in Mahwah NJ two days a week.
