What You Will Do

The Americas Marcom Hub is the unit within VCUSA that is responsible for driving marketing related to subscription and online sales across National Sales Companies, Importers and Retail Partners. As the company’s fastest growing region, Americas is the commercial unit and laboratory where breakthrough ideas are tested and scaled. And the Marketing, Media and Martech teams within Americas Marcom Hub are tasked with telling the story of our transformation, brand and products and driving the commercial agenda across all media channels and platforms. We are now looking for a professional who can join our team and drive our digital marketing agenda of the region.

As a regional team resource, you will work in close collaboration with the markets in the region, to ensure we speak in one voice and deliver excellence in executing on our marketing and communication messages.


As a Care by Volvo Online Sales, Digital Content Lead you will steer the development of all digital marketing initiatives, and make sure we have the right tools and capabilities to become competitive in all sales channels including online sales. You will also provide expertise and knowledge to the central marketing & web development teams. The role requires wide and cross functional collaboration within the company, as well as agility and speed. Seeing the full picture and identifying gaps, mainly within the wider field of digital marketing and online sales will be one of your core functions.

We are a flat organization with a Go-Get-Attitude, and we act as a strong team to get things done to enable the business to be successful. We work with speed and engagement in a collaborative manner. As part of the Americas Marcom Hub, you will report to the Head of Brand Marketing.


Key responsibilities

  • Be responsible for leading and coordinating digital projects, implement and evaluate tools, lead and develop new ways of working, processes etc. very much connected to the Americas Marcom Hub. 
  • Ensure all the necessary deliverables for a project are completed and handed over on time and on budget.
  • Play a key role in the work to migrate platforms, setting up account structure in close collaboration with central teams within Volvo Cars to make sure we have sales & marketing dashboards etc. in place across all markets in the Region.
  • Bridge the gap between regional stakeholders, Central marketing & media teams, as well as local and central agency teams.
  • Be the Americas representative to manage and lead online sales projects
  • Be responsible, develop and make sure we deliver towards KPI frameworks



You are a true digital native, with a coordinating and organized mindset. You have worked with digital marketing management for a results-driven organization, and are deeply familiar with digital customer journeys as well as digital platforms and web. Keeping up to date with trends and marketing features comes natural to you. You are used to identifying needs and suggesting solutions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Digital Marketing or equivalent
  • 7-10+ years demonstrated success in strategic Project management, Digital Marketing & eCommerce, Media channel management, Content/SEO development, CRM.
  • Highly experienced in the common Digital Marketing platforms
  • Experience from working in international organizations is preferred
  • Exceptional communicator, both verbal and written
  • Automotive experience is a plus
