  • Act as a trusted advisor for data privacy matters as the day-to-day contact person for business stakeholders across the region. In so doing, you will influence the strategic direction of new business initiatives and contribute to Volvo Cars’ transformation initiatives.
  • Adopt a pragmatic business-partnering approach while working in close collaboration across functions to provide risk assessments and guidance.
  • Conduct privacy impact/risk assessments on key strategic or complex business initiatives and implement Privacy by Design principles as needed.
  • Support the management of third-party risks through conduct of assessments and negotiation of legal agreements.
  • Develop and deliver strategies to drive the ongoing data privacy awareness within the business.

Who You Are. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and collaborative with high integrity and a pragmatic approach. We also want to work with talented people of diverse backgrounds and with different perspectives.

  • Must be a team player with the ability to work independently and to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.
  • Must have a proactive and customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to provide high-quality support with limited supervision and often under time pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain complex issues in a simple way to business partners, leadership, and other stakeholders
