Job Summary:   

Volvo Car USA’s Care by Volvo Online Sales, Digital Media Activation Lead Manager will be a seasoned paid digital media lead, with in-depth knowledge in eCommerce, Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic and Performance Media Analytics, working in conjunction with the extended Paid Media Team, MarTech & Data Team, CRM Team, Digital Website Team, and Paid Media Agency.

The right candidate will exhibit excellent eCommerce, digital media, data, analytical and organizational skills, with an ability to build strong relationships internally with cross-functional teams and externally with paid media agencies.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Objective

• Build the Care by Volvo online sales digital media capability within the Americas Marcom Hub

• Ensure that we deliver an efficient and lean way of working which meets requirements on both digital media efficiency improvements and agency turnaround

 

Key Tasks

•  Lead media activation to support Care by Volvo online sales to maximize ROI and deliver an efficient model long-term

•  Execute our paid media strategies & plans for Care by Volvo Online Sales across all digital channels

•  Online sales optimizations in Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic and Performance Analytics for ongoing growth

•  Ensures media activation insights are shared and actioned with media planning, campaign, and content teams

•  Optimizes website experience to address media effectiveness flagging any needs for development of webpage from media efficiency perspective

•  Manages long term system integration planning. E.g. Salesforce Audience Studio (Data Mgmt. Platform) to Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Demand Side Platform (DSP), assuring that key points in the customer journey are traceable from a digital media analytics perspective

•  Responsible for building the eCommerce teams both on Americas and agency end

•  Feed in any findings into market, regional and global teams for iterations on existing frameworks

•  Manage requirements and buildouts of the digital media activation dashboard, optimizations, and agility

•  Summarize best practices and ensure proper documentation

 

Key Competencies/Abilities:

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree or higher. Business, Marketing, Data Analytics or Advertising major a plus.

• 5+ years in eCommerce, Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic and Performance Analytics.

• Experience and understanding working with Digital Media and data management platforms (ex. Salesforce DMP), data exchanges, ad networks, demand side platforms (DSP), agency trading desks or supply side platforms (SSP).

• Knowledge of applications for database management, data administration, business intelligence, ad exchange trading, real-time bidding (RTB), demand- and supply-side platforms (DSP, SSP), ad serving.

• Demonstrated analytical skills, data driven decision-making and strong teamwork driving business results.

• Good experience of online advertising with a track-record in problem solving and decision-making is a must.

• Experience with digital campaign setup, optimization, and reporting; audience segmentation, audience development, ad targeting and delivery.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Web Applications.
