Internship Accounting: Inventory and Fixed Assets

What you’ll do
We currently offer an internship in our Global Accounting Delivery (GAD) Team in Madrid (metro Cuzco). In GAD there are over 400 employees globally operating from six different countries and representing more than 30 nationalities! Our focus is to deliver compliant, and quality assured financial information faster and smarter to support business decisions. This is a challenging opportunity to play an important part and contribute to our biggest transformation yet – becoming a fully electric brand with direct and online sales.

 

**Important note: Enrollment in a Spanish university is required for the duration of the internship in order to sign an agreement ("convenio")**

 

Study Plan
•    Complete immersion in the day-to-day operations in the Accounting department, which provides accounting services for affiliates and headquarters.
•    You will have a buddy / buddies who will support and guide you throughout internship 
•    Learn about activities related to Accounting and Fixed Assets specifically: Asset capitalization, Investment Management Structure, Asset Disposal. You will be trained in different tools such as Excel and SAP, our accounting ERP.
•    Learn day to day activities related to Inventory: Clearing of parts account, investigation of Inventory accounts.
•    Learn how to close an Accounting period, practice by booking accruals, reclassification, ad hoc asset requests, review journal vouchers.
•    Participation in projects, trainings and meetings as listener.
•    Analysis and review of our working material to find typos, mistakes or unclear explanations.
•    Analysis of our processes to suggest new procedures or improvements.


What you'll bring
Competence and experience is important but personality is key! To be successful in this internship you have an interest in Finance and Accounting and are curious to learn. 

•    You are in the final year of your studies in the following areas: Finance, Business, Economics or similar degrees
•    Fluent in English (C1) 
•    MS Office knowledge
•    Ability to organize multiple tasks, structure, plan and get things done
•    You're a good communicator and are able to handle different stakeholders
•    You have a great attention to detail
