Lead Engineer, Traction Battery Testing 主管工程师,驱动电池测试 (测试自动化)

Propulsion system testing:

- Test objects mainly involve traction batteries (Cell&Pack).

- Participate project meeting to get test purpose and the conditions clarified and ensure the correct understanding.

- Coordinate with automation and equipment administration team to      evaluate the feasibility of test scheme, based on test purpose and the conditions.

- Responsible to implement testing projects using in-house and external test facilities, safely and efficiently.

- Operate Kratzer test automation system to establish test configurations through according to test specification. Following up test progress and reporting test status.

- Assess the quality of the data/results. Lead the preliminary troubleshooting of test objects during test. Identify source of failure (test object/equipment/automation…), coordinate related teams to facilitate root cause analysis and report out. Compile FIS (failure information sheet) and TOR (Test operation report) for test projects.

- Provide technical support to technician team on battery lab operation.

- Work in the Agile team with cross-functional synergy in all cadence level, support team to achieve delivery excellence.

- Identify potential improvement in lab, initiate KAIZEN activities.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in automation engineering or electrical engineering, with pertinent experience, major in Automobile Engineering or New energy vehicle related.
  • Fluent English (written &Oral).
  • Good knowledge of virtual test environment development and application
  • Able to use basic CAN tools for test setup and issue analysis
  • General IT knowledge, including MS office, MS Project, AutoCAD.
  • Has “can-do” spirit, strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Willing to take challenge and able to work under stress.
  • Self-driven and team player.
  • 3+ years’ vehicle propulsion systems testing experience, familiar with related work process and test standard.
  • Know the structure and principle of traction battery, such as lithium ternary battery.
  • Has experience on failure mode of traction battery and root cause investigation.
  • Familiar with PAtools or other software of battery testing system will be a plus
  • Coding experience of C++, VB, Python program will be a plus.
