We are Wired Communication, a group of experts in the sub-areas, including hardware, software and automotive communications systems. The Wired Communication is a part of the Common Base Technology, which creates a foundation for all electronic control units in the entire electrical system.
In this role, you will be a part of a sub-group called ComWired Technologies, focusing on multiple wired communication technologies such as Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN, LVDS, A2B, PCIe, USB and many more. The team members are responsible for designing and verifying the communication technologies through requirements, simulations, measurements and proof of concept from a hardware and software perspective. This work will be done in close cooperation with other team members, automotive experts in their technology field, who will happily share their experience with you.
What you’ll do
· Develop Automotive Networking Technologies (Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN, LVDS, A2B, PCIe, USB, etc.).
· Define requirements and test cases for the development and integration of new HW components & communication technologies.
· Develop PoC and test benches to validate new and current HW components & communication technologies.
· Follow up with ECU teams and suppliers on the development and integration of the HW components to ensure that the defined requirements have been fulfilled and implemented.
What you’ll bring:
· Knowledge in Automotive Networking Technologies
· Expertise in both Physical Layer and Protocol Layers
· Experience in HW development, system architecture and network interface design.
We also appreciate it if you have:
· Experience with various digital and analog electronics, such as Transceivers, Controllers, Microcontrollers, application processors.
· Experience with designing or reviewing schematics and PCB layout design.
· Experience with Power over Data Line (PoDL), Power over Coaxial (PoC), Power over Ethernet (PoE).
· Knowledge of Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC).
We believe that you have following basic qualifications:
· Minimum B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Computer, Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
· You are curious and want to contribute to developing our wired technologies.
· You are committed to high delivery quality and can proceed with your work without having all the facts at hand before you start.
· You have a positive attitude and are a team player.
· Excellent communication skills in English both in writing and speech.
