What you'll do

We are looking for our new colleague, who will have an experience in all aspects of Tool & Die, particularly in the context of automotive High Pressure Die Casting. This includes Die maintenance engineering, supervision, and leadership, with experience in supporting both ongoing production and the introduction of new products or dies.

The candidate should be highly skilled in Tool & Die in Casting Shop, breakdown management, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions to prevent recurring issues. Additionally, they will have expertise in spare parts management.

You will be responsible for:

•Supervision of hourly Tool & Die Specialist, this is a hands-on working supervisor role
•Manpower management: day to day line support, PM and repair task, vacation scheduling, overtime, and weekend work scheduling
•Definition of daily tasks and setting directions for the team
•Interaction with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling Design Engineering and Maintenance
•Interaction with customer departments and managers (Body and White, General Assembly)
•Standards development and creation of procedures and methods as well as maintaining updates as required
•Tool and Die exchange process and installation
•Project management of repairs, refurbishment, and engineering change implementation projects
•Working on tool and die repairs on machine and out of machine. deliver decisions of timing of repairs and methods
•Experienced in comprehensive Tool & Die aspects within the automotive sector
•Proficient in diverse Tool & Die skills, breakdown management, root cause investigation, and PM system development
•Capable of elevating the Tool & Die team's performance based on prior successes
•Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and leaders to address safety, part quality, production efficiency, and die function concerns
•Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and management skills
 

What will you bring?
 

•University degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical/Mechatronic,  Materials Engineering or equivalent experience
•Completed Tool & Die apprenticeship or equivalent OJT experience
•Several years in supervision, leadership, and maintaining high-pressure die casting, Injection Molds, Stamping Dies or trimming tools
•Process Die maintenance and design basic knowledge
•Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
•Skillful at motivating in high-pressure situations and developing individualized development plans
•Good people management skills with excellent communication abilities Specialists
•Develop and create standard procedures and methods as well as maintain updates as required
•Experience with CAD programming
•Conversational in English (written and spoken)
 

Compensation

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from  1.900 EUR monthly gross.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
