System Design Engineers - Diagnostic Applications

What do we offer?

Diagnostic is one key component towards improved quality and we need additional colleagues to strengthen the team. Our mission is to develop new diagnostic capabilities to enable advanced analytic capabilities such as descriptive (what happened?), diagnostic (why did it happen?), predictive (what will happen?) and prescriptive (how should it be used?).


We are currently focusing on diagnostic applications such as Diagnostic Management System, External Diagnostic Client Connection and Vehicle Health Services. The team Diagnostic Applications are responsible for design, implement and test for a set of various diagnostics applications. In our work, we work agile (according to SAFe framework) with 12 weeks program increment.

 

What you’ll do

As a System Design Engineer, your daily work will include learning and understanding the business use case and functional requirements. You will plan, prioritize and coordinate the work with the team members and continue the development and model solutions/requirements for the function. Further, you will develop strategies, target levels and reliable solutions/verification methods regarding the function as well as develop software solutions according to functional requirements. You will also lead and coordinate the work to plan and follow up the integration of the function realization and that will be done in close cooperation with all concerned during the projects. Contributing in the teams’ test activities and updating of test methods, tolls and processes will also be included in your work tasks as well as report and establish technical solutions and support fault tracing and/or troubleshooting activities.

 

Do you fit the profile?

We believe you have a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience. We also want you to have at least 5 years of experience in software design/architecture and fluency in English, written and spoken. It is meritorious if you have experience from system engineering, software development (C/C++) or knowledge in ISO26262 and Autosar as well as an EU driver’s license B.
