System Design Engineer - Core System Platform

The team is responsible for developing Core System Platform apps for various functions, including energy and power optimization in vehicles, usage management, and startup processes. Our work spans from early concept development to industrialization and field follow-up. The team is cross-functional, handling system design, system safety, software development, and verification.

Your Role

Your primary focus will be on system design and function specification. Responsibilities include writing system documentation, managing requirements, and reviewing and signing off on technical documents. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across software, system, and hardware engineering disciplines.

Additionally, you will lead the development of concept solutions, devising strategies to balance energy consumption across the entire electrical system during all life phases.

This role also involves monitoring implementations in ongoing car programs to ensure feedback informs the concept solutions.

Qualifications

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with embedded function or software development, preferably in the automotive industry, for several years.
- Knowledge of power electronics is a plus.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Structured with excellent documentation skills, self-driven, flexible, and positive in attitude.
