In Local Capabilities we are responsible for the development and maintenance of IT-systems and solutions in the Time & Pay and Compensations & Benefits area.
We are now looking for a System Architect, who will be part of a cross-functional agile team and who will enable product success by working with the development team and guide them in technical decisions. You will work with the Solution Architect to make sure technical decisions follows the architectural guidelines. You will also work closely with the product owner to help prioritize the backlog continuously.
Our mission is to contribute to define the future digitalization roadmap and to ensure we remain in the technical forefront and utilize the right systems fit for purpose.
We are on a very exciting journey in our area and we have some large initiatives planned for the coming years where we are moving into innovative technologies.
What you do
As a technical leader in the Scrum team you work with the following.
· You guide the technical development in the team, and guide the team on the technical journey.
· You work together with the Solution architect to enable development of future business functionality. You collaborate to build the architectural strategy and translate it to the team, to ensure that we reach the targets of the digital roadmap.
· You take part in concept studies, pre-studies, including problem/opportunity analysis.
· You collaborate with System Architects from other teams to inspire and get inspired, and to identify possibilities for collaboration and synergies.
· You facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand the technical requirements.
· You present the technical solutions and result of technical analysis to the team and other stakeholders around the team.
· Be a servant leader for the product team in.
· Represent the product team in technical questions both internally and externally as required
Who are you?
- You have in depth knowledge of IT Applications and Platforms to guide the team on a technical level and ensure that the solution delivered by the product team complies with the agreed architecture and development guidelines
- You have an attitude saying that problems are there to be solved; There are no problems, only solutions!
- You regard yourself being a Tech savvy
- You are a servant leader and a true team player

- You understand technical contexts and can convey the essence to non-technical business stakeholders
- You are curious and eager to learn about new technology
- You have Interest in different platforms, not only one
- You have experience working with different architectures and platforms
- You have experience with working in a global context
Ideally you have worked as a developer during your career. We believe this is important to understand the challenges a developer has and have the possibility to support.
We also think you are a good communicator with good presentation skills.
We think you have a education background with at least a Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
We also think you have had the chance to get a good experience from different roles within software development. We think you have around 10 years in the IT business and you have worked with solutions in multiple platforms.
The position is on-site in Gothenburg and it’s preferrable that you speak Swedish
Formal requirements:
- Development language/s (C# etc.)
- Database SQL knowledge
- Understand Cloud concept (Azure cloud is a benefit)
- DevOps experience, including e.g. automation tools, logging/monitoring
- Good understanding of API-focused development and being able to guide the team on this technology
