What’s in it for you? 
Team One Engine is responsible for applications that are used for installing software into Volvo vehicles, both for internal development tools, aftermarket in our repair workshops globally as well as over the air updates wherever the car is.
The development is done in a human centric mind-set using Agile/DevOps practices.
 
What you’ll do 
In this position you will work in a cross-functional team building cutting-edge products and services that will deliver value to our customers. Our customers are workshops all around the globe and direct customers via the Over The Air channel.
In our team you will be part of an agile environment where you as a developer are empowered to bring requirements all the way from the reviewing stage to production ready functionality, while also working with code reviews and setting up plans for how to architect our code to have top notch quality and allow for quick changes. You will also be expected to contribute to improving our DevOps practices and be a part of the Developer Community of practice.
 
What we are looking for

As a requirement for this position we are looking for a Team Player with solid knowledge in .NET/C# and best practices
You are comfortable with WPF/XAML (desktop application development) and have an analytical/innovative mindset

 

Technical bonus skills - not a requirement but very meritable (or what you would potentially learn in this role)

  • Microsoft Azure
  • Cloud Native Solutions
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • Experience in Microservice Architecture
  • Experience in web development/API-first solutions (.net core, rest, Blazor, Angular/React)
  • Experience in Document-oriented data stores (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, etc.)
  • Experience in distributed services
  • Java/Spring Boot

You are a curious and open-minded person who are continuously striving to develop your skillsets. You are willing to develop a T-shaped profile by expanding your knowledge into one or more other specializations. You are self-motivated, like trouble shooting and work in a self-organized dynamic team
