The Sales Operations department is a part of Volvo Car Sverige AB. You will be a part of a high performing management team and you will report to Kristian Elvefors MD of Volvo Car Sverige AB.

What you´ll do

As a Senior Director Sales Operations at Volvo Car Sweden you are responsible for our sales department including fleet sales, used cars, tactical volume planning as well as our regional managers within sales and customer service. Your daily work will be to drive sales and sales performance with our partners and dealers to secure the greatest customer journey in the automotive industry.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Deliver on annual sales targets with profitable deliverables
  • Develop our dealers and partners to exceed long-term targets
  • Build a strong partnership with our partners securing our way forward, focusing on our customer journeys
  • Build a strong culture within the team as well as working agile, putting the customer in the front row
  • Monitor and embrace trends and changes within the overall retail business
  • Identify new opportunities and give input to the central team in in order to continuously improve and develop the products & our offers 
  • Monitor trends in the automotive industry, especially concerning individual mobility solutions, and secure early indicators of change in consumer behaviour

 

 

You and your skills

The position as Senior Director Sales operations requires that you have a high level of integrity, professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills. You possess a cross-functional mindset and a strong passion for people, customers, cars and how digitalization impacts the entire car business. We see that you are energetic and have a high innovative mind-set and excellent analytical skills. You are a strong relationship builder and hold outstanding communications skills.

Leading agile teams comes natural to you. You have the ability to lead through vision and clear objectives, while motivating and developing your team. Cooperation and convergence across borders is natural to you, and you develop strong relations with internal and external stakeholders. You are action oriented while maintaining a high level of empathy. You have the ability to convert strategic objectives into execution with leadership skills focusing on change and collaboration.

 

You should have the following background and experience:

  • University degree within a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Experience from the Automotive Industry including knowledge of our brand, our customers and the customer journey
  • Minimum 5 years of documented deep knowledge and experience of the car and service business
  • 10 years in managerial position of which at least 3 years in management
  • Documented good and developmental leadership
  • Senior retail expertise from the FMCG sector is meritorious
