Senior Business Analyst

In line with our mission to become a software centric company, we are now hiring a Business Analyst in the area of Software configuration. If you are an analytic team player with an interest in how software is deployed, released and configured in a car, you might be the person we are looking for.  


What’s in it for you? 

As a member of the development team for the inhouse developed tool ConfigHub, you will contribute by analysing and break-down requirements from our business processes. You will then use this to create and design improvements to ConfigHub (that serves as a repository for, and management of, vehicle SW baselines during development). 


You will also work in close collaboration with different stakeholders and other cross-functional product teams, giving you an opportunity to share your knowledge and ideas of improvements in a larger context.  


You and your skills 

Key qualifications for this position include: 

  • BSc or higher degree in engineering, computer Science or similar field of knowledge relevant for this position. 

  • Previous experiences from working as a Business Analyst 

  • Solid skills in written and spoken English 

  • Great facilitation skills  

  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player in a fast-paced agile environment 


Meritorious qualifications for this position:  

  • Experiences from the automotive industry 

  • Previously gained knowledge about Volvo Cars concerning 

  • Inhouse SW development 

  • Product Documentation 

  • SW development applications (Elektra, CarWeaver, PIE R&D) 

  • Legacy PLM applications (KDP, PIE, VIDA) 

  • Understanding of CI/CD, both usage and operations 

  • Understanding of both backend and frontend development.
