The department Exterior Systems has responsibilities to develop the exterior mechatronic systems of the vehicle, which involves development of customer functionality, system design, hardware design, software development and verification on all levels. The technical responsibility covers system solutions in various areas, among them exterior front lighting and rear lighting, wipers, washer, sensor cleaning and rear-view systems/mirrors.
Our current Signal Light teams consist of some 20+ skilled engineers, engaged in development with technical responsibility within Exterior Lighting Functions, functional and system design, SW-development and verification. What you'll do
In your role as IRL you have delegated execution responsibility for your team by driving and organizing the work and flow. You manage and optimize the flow of value through the department by establishing and communicating the annual rolling calendar for iterations and continuous planning.
You will also be responsible to drive and report Integration and Release status of the deliveries from the team including removing impediments beyond teams’ own ability. You co-facilitate quarterly sync sessions by fostering the preparations together with Product Owner, Functions Owner and Engineering Manager to vision and roadmap our backlog.
You will work closely with other IRL´s, product owners and DPMs within and outside the department.

You are a technically oriented person with documented experience within our area and have a passion for developing people and teams. You enjoy being part of a team, yet you eagerly take a leadership role to guide the team to reach its full potential. You thrive in working in a collaborative environment and building networks across the organization and you are a driven self-motivated person who wants to see results in your own work as well as the teams’.
The qualifications that you bring in are an academic background as B Sc or M Sc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar with experience from SW development projects and you have minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or as leader in agile development. You have deep knowledge in agile methods and communication skills to bring this mindset to your teams. As we are a truly international team, we see you have excellent English skills being fluent both verbally and in writing. Meritorious is certification as Scrum Master and previous experience of tools such as JIRA and Confluence. In addition to the leadership qualifications, true technical depth from software development is required to be selectable for this role.
Desired and meritorious skills that are beneficial and would bring additional impact and contribution to our team are experiences with C++ programming, Simulation and Model-Based Design using MATLAB/ Simulink, Rhapsody, System Weaver/CarWeaver, Elektra, Vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet) and knowledge of automotive standards Functional Safety ISO26262 and Cyber security ISO21434.
We believe you are fluent in English and holder of driving license “B”.
