Global Customer Service (GCS) is a unit within Volvo Car Corporation, responsible for the global aftermarket business, development and distribution of genuine parts, service- and repair methods and accessories. Our ambition is to be the most desired provider of parts, accessories and service to our Volvo dealers and customers and thereby contribute to creating the most exciting car experience for the customer.

The logistics function Parts Supply & Logistics within Global Customer Service is responsible for the procurement, storage and distribution of spare parts and accessories to Volvo Car customers throughout the world. This includes operational control of all Volvo-owned parts inventory, warehouse management and transportation, as well as the long-term development of the global logistics process. 

You will be a part of the team in the development of our processes to be able to meet future needed improvements and challenges. A great start to understand and learn about Volvo Cars customer needs and our total Supply Chain process.

At Global Order Management & Customer Support you will be responsible for supporting our markets.


Your key tasks 

You are responsible for the support and co-ordination of distribution queries from National Sales Companies (NSC), Importers, Suppliers and other Specific Customers globally

You will process orders via the distribution system PULS (Parts Universal Logistic System), handle warehouse invoices, including monthly accruals. You will also be responsible for management and follow-up of discrepancies as well as co-ordination and order handling of launch activities and campaigns.

You are responsible for working with and taking lead in continuous improvement of the department processes and training of National Sales Companies, Importers, Suppliers and Internal customers in Global Customer Service.  

You will also work cross functional with Transport, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Inventory Management and other internal departments.


You and your skills

You have University degree preferably within logistics and few years of experience within supply chain positions.

You have experience from leading continuous improvement projects, identifying opportunities and driving changes.

You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and it’s important that you have flexibility to travel.

Experience from working with Customer Support and SAP is meritorious.

For this position, you need to be structured and have an analytical and holistic mind-set. Since you will have contact with many people it is important that you are relations- and customer oriented, communicative and have a networking ability.

We also believe that you are a good team player and self-driven with inspirational and motivating appearance and to succeed in this role you will have to be an engaged and encouraging person with a personal eagerness to accomplish results and getting things done.

It is important that you have the ability to work under pressure and take pride in always delivering on time. You are positive, engaged and have a desire to motivate others. Competence and experience is important but personality is key.
