Experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer - Quality Analytics within Digital

What do we offer and what do you do?
In the ART (Agile Release Train) called Insights and Product Development support (IPDS) at Digital we have My Quality team who is supporting different stakeholders such as R&D with digital innovative solutions. 
The MyQ team is responsible for development of enterprise solutions which provide methods and tools for Quality data analytics and insights. We developed a suite of data pipelines, backend, and web applications to provide access to diagnostic data for all cars visiting a dealer workshop and extract various insights about repair and warranty data. 

You will be working with an experienced DevOps team that covers application development, maintenance and support, data analytics and data engineering. You will be well taken care of in the on-boarding process and there is a lot of room to grow into the tech-stack. The tech-stack and architecture are very flexible and modular for improvements and additions.

As a full-stack developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining front-end/back-end applications that are based on Angular/.NET Core/Azure tech stack and hosted in cloud. The cloud-hosted platform is the home for several web applications to whom you will be a key resource to both develop and manage. At the beginning, you will be involved in developing the next phase of Early Claim Binning (ECB) system, a cloud native and centralized tool that empowers VRT analysts read and bin claims into problems to detect issues in the fleet. The work will also include capturing of requirements from business users and mange user relationship.

At Volvo we organize all applications in products to be handled in a DevOps setup (development and IT operations). Parts of operation is handled in external cloud, but the team is responsible for the IT-operation as such. The team members strive to be T-shaped to be able to deliver highest possible quality in different DevOps situations. We are aiming for empowered and self-organized teams.

The team and the ART are working according to agile SAFe principles so you will be working close to the Product Owner and the Scrum Master.  

Your skills
We are looking for a creative and driven Full-Stack Software Engineer with approx.
3+ years of experience in building cloud-native web applications using Angular, .NET Core and Azure cloud. Domain Design, API-Design and Cloud Architecture is merited.


Required Qualifications
•    Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of work experience.
•    Proven strong design experience and technical knowledge in .NET Core (C#).
•    Proven experience with web development (backend and frontend) and MS Azure cloud.
•    Extensive experience in building Single Page Applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript & Angular.
•    Experience with complex Angular applications (modules, components, services, and dependency injections).
•    Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs on the .NET platform.
•    Proven experience in Azure DevOps and repository management (GIT).
•    Proven experience in designing enterprise applications.
•    Integrating data from various back-end services and databases.
•    Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
•    Participate in software release and post-release activities.
•    Expertise and experience in agile methodologies (DevOps, project management, organizing backlog and tasks).


Beneficial qualifications
•    Experience working with business development.
•    Hands-on experience in car industry is a plus.
•    Knowledge about microservices architecture is a plus.
•    Knowledge about Volvo Car Corporation, Vehicle diagnostics and VIDA.
•    Experience driving POC into production and integrating it with existing solutions.
•    Experience with SQL and ETL.
•    Experience with various Azure cloud services (Storage, SQL Azure Database, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure AD, Functions, Kubernetes, Azure Monitor).
