For our production site in Ghent we are looking for a:




The purpose of Process Engineer is to:


  • Drive improvements for current processes in running production;
  • Drive bottleneck area improvements
  • Coach of technical support functions
  • Support First line managers in deep problem solving


Main task & responsibilities:


Efficiency and productivity running production

  • Support the production organisation through M3MU/kaizen and with shop engineering competence the shop efficiency.  This to reach manhour target / correct efficiency level according to target setting.

Continuous improvement process

  • Via analysis / M3MU / kaizen improvement drive the QDFIPS continuous improvement.

Process studies

  • Act as the interface between the production department/plant engineering and Manufacturing Engineering for process studies.
  • On request provide Manufacturing Engineering (Core, Commodity and Facilities, Tooling and Equipment) with running assembly process information in scope of future processes.
  • Gives input to and/or executes technical specification for equipment, assembly tools and – fixtures needed for production, within the scoop of problem solving process.
  • Prepare material (facts and figures) regarding proposed process changes and eventual investments.
  • Support with identifying need of new or update of current error proofing equipment or quality assurance activity connected to external/internal indicators.


Backup for First line manager

  • Upon request backfill for supervisor in case of absenteeism



Required qualifications:


  • MSc in the engineering area
  • Fluent in English
  • Result oriented and analytical
  • Strong drive to cooperate cross functionally.
  • Proven leadership capability’s
