We will be launching in Belgium in 2019. To deliver on the ambitions we have for the growth of Volvo’s electric performance brand, we are searching for our Belgian market Head of Marketing, who will launch and strengthen the Polestar brand, while leading the development of Belgian market strategy.

 

 

What you will do

You’ll develop our Belgian marketing strategy, in concert with the overall global marketing strategy and implementation roadmap and you will collaborate with the Polestar HQ marketing & brand team to understand strategic initiatives, both globally and locally. You’re the contact point for all Belgian Polestar marketing activities and you’ll plan, manage and launch marketing plans for all channels.

You will develop and deliver specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interest in the Belgian market, in keeping with the global marketing plan. You will stay informed on current global marketing trends.

You’ll present the subscription-based model to the Belgian market, and establish a working relationship with the Care by Volvo team to maximize efficiency. You will also be working closely with the Retail Development Manager to deliver the level of consumer experience required for the Polestar brand.

 

 

Who are you?

You are driven and committed, with a proven track record in marketing communications and brand building. You ideally have a degree in marketing or a business-related degree, but more importantly should have significant recent experience in marketing management. Good working knowledge of marketing communications programmes in traditional and electronic media is expected.

You are a good collaborator who can effectively interact with and influence a diverse group of people. You’re motivated and enthusiastic about developing the brand. High productivity and attention to detail are essential, as are good analytical skills. You also need to be able to work with a high degree of autonomy.

You should have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.  Excellent written English is essential, as well as proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and understanding of online CRM systems.

 

Ideally, you have a proven track record in a company with both global and regional/local structures, maybe from an FMCG company. You have excellent communications skills and are comfortable working in a matrix environment. You can think strategically and can be hands-on in an operational sense.
