What Do We Offer?
The team Charging Concept & Industrialization Management is responsible for project and SW lead in delivering system solution and SW functionality for the on-board charger (OBC) and DC/DC system in our electrified vehicles. Our vision is to deliver the best functionality in the market and continuously evolve our development platform. We are working with continuous integration as development praxis and we are striving towards continuous deployment of Software and Hardware.

 

The group Charging Concept & Industrialization Management is now looking for a new Software Component Responsible for the OBC and DC/DC software products.

 

What Will You Do? 
As Software Component Responsible (SWKA) you would be responsible for securing high quality and accurate SW deliveries in running projects for both in-house development team and supplier, take an active part in following up the progress of software development by the development teams, both in-house and supplier.  As Software Component Responsible (SWKA) you would be responsible for securing high quality and accurate SW deliveries in running projects, you will be responsible for securing that we have a clear picture of software contents in all SW releases from in-house development team and supplier, you will be responsible for following up the progress of SW development and verification by development team both in-house and supplier. You will be the main contact person between Charging project leaders and supplier regarding software development. You will also be responsible for coordinating deliveries needed from various Volvo teams, (e.g. Diagnostics, System Design) to ensure that SW deliveries can take place as scheduled.

 

This position gives a great possibility to gain experience of power electronics in the automotive field.

 

Do You Fit the Profile?
We are looking for you who have a Master or Bachelor of Science within engineering or equivalent work life experience. You have a technical interest and experience of working with software development. We want to see that you are structured, data driven and have good documentation and communications skills. You have a true team player attitude with personal energy and a business-oriented mind-set. This role requires high Integrity, that you are adaptable to change, and that you have the courage to go in new directions if needed. You have strong English language skills, both verbally and written.


It is meritorious if you have experience as /of/about:
•    Software team leader
•    Model Based Development (MBD) 
•    Working with system requirements
•    On-Board Charger functionality
•    Charging standards: AC, CHAdeMO, CCS, GB/T
•    AUTOSAR architecture and development
•    Working with Scrum as Product Owner (PO) or Scrum Master (ScM)
