Your Key Tasks   

  • Conduct employee meetings and arrange for enrollment of employees in various benefits plans.
  • Conduct employee benefit seminars and new hire orientation.
  • Handle benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution
  • Perform 5500 Audits and any other audits that may arise
  • Revise and reissue all communications material on benefits from time to time. Advise and counsel management and employees on existing benefits
  • Responsible for oversight of health and retirement benefits administration, ensuring that they meet service level requirements
  • Track and manage all “leaves of absence” such as FMLA, personal leaves, short-term disability, etc.
  • Develop specifications for new benefits plans or modify existing plans (as needed) to: maintain company's competitive position in the labor market and obtain uniform benefit package, where possible
  • Liaison with the outsourcing company to make sure all enrollments, carrier connections and benefits are updated and correct
  • Evaluate and manage compensation and benefits program for the hourly and salary employees
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans that are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and the organization's objectives.
  • Manage the administration of bonus program.

                                            

Do you fit the Profile? 

  • Four year degree in Human Resources or Business Management
  • 7 to 10 years of Experience in Comp & Benefits
  • Knowledge of auto industry or manufacturing
  • Project and time management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as advanced analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Proven abilities to perform well under pressure
  • Service minded & good communication and coordination skills.
