Plant Strategy Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and visualize the company’s strategy and mission based on Plant Management Direction – Driving a 5 Year Strategic Vision to ideal plant operations
  • Develop plans to materialize strategy from concept through execution including monitoring & control
  • Gather data and information from all stakeholders to develop SWOT analysis or other decision driver tools
  • Assess the company’s operational and strategic performance by visualizing plan v. actual to key initiatives
  • Align processes, resources-planning and department goals with overall strategy
  • Support senior executives in driving strategic decisions through effective visualization of facts and data
  • Construct forecasts and analytical models for productivity improvements to drive initiatives throughout the plant
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes to support strategic direction
  • Experience in developing floor layouts to manage large scale change, strategies for improvement, and negotiation with all levels of the organization around change management.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Strategy Coordinator within a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of the automotive industry, research resources and data analysis
  • Knowledge of OEM business operations and procedures
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills including visualization
  • Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering or similar technical degree
