HR Business Partner

 

In Human Resources, you are part of a global team with the task to make Volvo Car Group the employer of choice. You handle the most precious resource for the success of the company – our employees. HR Business Partners have the responsibility to deliver the most efficient HR services, tools and support to the managers and employees within Volvo Car Group in order for them to focus on what matters most – our products and people. 

 

The Americas HR Business Partner is responsible for 

· Developing and implementing associate engagement strategies to ensure a climate of positive employee relations.

· Creating and administering various recognition programs to encourage employee involvement and satisfaction

· Advising business leaders toward the appropriate investigation and resolution of issues, in a group or one-on-on setting.

 

If you are up to the challenge, we are looking for the following skills:

· Four year degree in Human Resources or a related field. HR Certification (PHR/SPHR or the SHRM equivalent) is preferred.

· A minimum of at least 4-7 years’ previous HR experience in a manufacturing facility, with demonstrated career progression. Experience in a Greenfield start-up or prior automotive experience is highly preferred.

· Prior experience in the development and implementation of employee engagement strategies is a plus.
