Equipment Engineer - Paint and Sealing Application

What’s in it for you?

As a Tooling and Equipment Paint Engineer within Manufacturing Engineering, you will develop and implement quality-assured, flexible, effective, and reliable production systems and equipment solutions in our Paint shops.


Our mission is to develop and support projects with Paint & Sealing application within Paint locally and globally, as well as manage the installations projects in our plants.

Now we are looking to hire a new colleague within the competence area of the Paint and Sealing application equipment.


What you will do…

The Equipment engineer is responsible for the Paint and Sealing equipment defined in our Scopes of work and Request for Quotation within our production plants.


The challenge for this role is for the next coming years to modify our existing lines for our next generation of cars and further develop the application systems to be flexible, low in material consumption, have high technical availability and maintainability.

The role will require good cooperation with product specialists and the production organization.


Do you fit the profile?

The ideal candidate will have an academic degree within areas of Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience and worked with equipment installation projects (systems design and integration) minimum 3 years.


Other experience and knowledge needed:

  • Extensive experience of automated paint and/or sealing application equipment
  • Extensive experience of robot commissioning, preferably Dürr installations
  • Experience of paint or sealing application projects, preferably as project manager or responsible engineer
  • Knowledge of application programming
  • Knowledge of paint material and/or sealing material
  • Knowledge of surrounding paint process relevant to paint or sealing applications
  • Experience of implementation of new paint and/or sealing material into production process
  • Project management and leadership skills
  • Experience with Industrial IT
