Job Summary:  

  • Responsible for the oversight of the Volvo Employee Lease Program (VELP), Test Car Program for employees at the Charleston, South Carolina location. This includes providing all South Carolina employees an exceptional customer experience. 


Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Manage the overall VELP and Test delivery and turn in process including tracking and replacement ordering 

  • Refine VELP and  Test car processes with an aim to further simplify and streamline the employee  interface 

  • Serve as primarily liaison with Enterprise Fleet Management and Insurance Company on the administration of the VELP program 

  • Coordinate with Commercial Sales and Sales Planning teams on the ordering and delivery of VELP and Test vehicles 

  • Timely response to employee or administrative inquiries submitted to VELP mailbox and coordinate test car inquires to sales planning 

  • Receive VELP and Test vehicle delivery information from sales planning and coordinate with employees 

  • Manage Pool loaner cars for VELP & Test Car repairs within the prescribed VCUS policies  

  • Administer new VELP and Used VELP tax/title/registration process and ensure timely turns of VELP vehicles to minimize tax exposure  

  •  Act as the main contact for all VELP communications, i.e. policy, program announcements 

  • Coordinate vehicle repairs with service shop to minimize down time 

  • Coordinate handling of SC manufacturer license plates for test and pool vehicles with Commercial Sales and Sale Planning 

  • Distribution of renewed registration and decals for South Carolina manufacturer license plates 

  • Manage all policies and procedures including enforcement as required with drivers.   



Key Competencies/Abilities:  

  • Detail oriented with excellent follow through  

  • College degree plus 5 years of supervisory experience 

  • Customer satisfaction driven 

  • Exceptional time management skills 

  • Employee/Team management skills providing clear direction and goal setting 

  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Familiarity with Division of Motor Vehicle processes 

  • Proficiency with VELP application, VISTA and E2E platform  

  • Ability to remain flexible and responsive to changing conditions. 

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and oral. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
