ATACQ Super User

Plant Application Super User (PASU)
1. Business structure linkage (Part of organization or process)
This role is linked to the plants quality organization, and functionally reports to the Plant Application Coordinator, to give support in all shops & departments where the system is used. 
2. Purpose
“Plant Application Super User” is primary responsible for the day-to-day implementation of, and support for, ATACQ.
Within his home organization he is the primary point of contact regarding local ATACQ-issues, mainly from business perspective.
a) Specified authorities and responsibilities can be delegated from “Plant Application Coordinator” to the “Plant Application Super User”. If this occurs, the mandate must be specified in a written form and approved by the BAM. 
b) A limited number of urgent activities can be delegated from “Plant Application Super User” to a few authorized employees (called “Backup Plant Super Users”) to secure urgent/critical business-functionalities in all production-shifts.  If this occurs, it must be specified in a written form and approved by the Plant Application Coordinator. 
3. Main tasks

  • Configures & manage the mandatory plant settings of the application, on a daily base
  • Periodically update the configuration to support new or changed models.
  • Execute periodic screening activities regarding application-usage & application-settings (old or non-valid settings)
  • Works close; and in association; with the “Plant Application Coordination”
  • Participates in training activities
  • Direct business support for all plant employees
  • Evaluate & escalate related floor issues
  • Apply and adapt theoretical principles (models) to predict Quality issues

4. Responsibility

  • Keep all application-settings up-to-date and in line with the currently related processes
  • Adapt application-settings to future process- or product-changes
  • Assure that all urgent actions taken by the “back-up plant super users” were communicated & documented
  • Execute periodic screenings on issues as: correct-application-integration & usage, old or invalid settings, feedback shop-floor equipment
  • Participate in training activities.
  • First business point of contact regarding application, for all involved employees within the plant.
  • Evaluation of business concerns regarding application-functionalities (as support for Plant Application Coordinator)
  • Testing of application-enhancements (in acceptance-& production-environment) and support linked deployment activities.

5. Authority

  • Daily management application-settings (delete, modify,..)
  • Execute various screening activities
  • Daily business-support (business point of contact)

6. Competence Requirements

  • B.S. Computer Science
  • Database handling, coding interface programs (Java, C++ ,Python)
  • Basic knowledge about linked and supporting systems (SAMS, GOB,…)
  • Automotive production process knowledge (all involved shops)
  • Basic knowledge about MS-office tools as Excel
  • Ability and willingness to explain the ATACQ-features whenever there is a need
  • Ability to convince people to use the system as expected
  • Ability to promote the system (existing and new features)
  • Creative and takes own initiatives (be pro-active)
  • Demonstrate every day build in quality behavior
