Main responsibilities

 Act as Technology expert to build quality data products with willingness to self-learning and long-term commitment. Interact with Product teams, architects, and platform experts to deliver user stories on timely basis with world class quality.

Do you fit the profile?

• B.E, MCA, BSc, MSc, or equivalent training in Computer Science or other relevant subject area

Experience – 7 years + of Industry Experience and 4 or more relevant experience

• • Support and develop products to enhance business decision making capabilities, utilizing Volvo Cars standards, best practices, and data & analytics tools
  • Involved in two complete end to end data integration implementation cycles using MS Azure service packs.
  • Strong experience in Data integration concepts in Extraction & Loading, coding transformation, Data Validation, Performance tuning on data loads, Debugging skills etc.
  • Good working knowledge in Data warehousing architecture concepts
  • Ability to understand Data modeling techniques using Data mart/Data mapping/ Dimensional modeling.
  • Implementing security model in the sematic layer
  • Conducting peer reviews and mentoring less experienced data engineers.
  • Showcased ownership in delivering solutions.
  • Showcased good collaboration with Business stakeholders to convert needs into technology solutions.
  • Performed multiple POC’s to introduce new solutions and technologies

• Primary Technology Skills (Must -have’s)
  • Strong experience in SQL programming and debugging skills
  • Strong working experience in one of the ETL tools like MS Azure ADF/ AWS Glue/Databricks/wherescape/Alteryx/Matillion
  • Good experience in using CI/CD process
  • Hands on experience in Snowflake/Redshift/Synapse
  • Worked in complex transformations using python/Spark
  • Be part of Agile framework like SAFE/Kanban
• Secondary Technology Skills
  • Working Knowledge in multiple MS Azure or AWS tool stack
  • API’s integration for data consumption
  • Good understanding on Data governance and master data management
  • Exposure to Data Quality tools to implement DQ rules as part of ETL
  • Good experience in building dashboards or scorecards using Power BI
