What we offer

This role is part of the Global Manufacturing team and part of plant maintenance cluster, which provides competence towards the digital solutions used for managing the equipment and other assets used for production of our cars. The role is part of manufacturing value chain and working with challenging and exciting assignments in IBM Maximo. In this role you will get the opportunity to learn and upgrade your domain knowledge and we provide an excellent platform to be part of the journey to reimagine the digital solution landscape supporting our plants.

Main responsibilities

• • Support and develop products to enhance business process, utilizing Volvo Cars standards, best practices.
  • Maximo application configuration and customization (Class/scripting) for business requirement
  • Maximo application support and maintenance
  • Design, Develop and deliver enhancements and new developments
  • Participate in requirement gathering and prepare technical and functional specifications
  • Participate in business solution demonstration and key user trainings
  • Support in development and implementation of product road map
  • Collaboration with different stakeholders to deliver the integration related features
  • Assist with build, test, and deploy activities within your area of expertise
  • Working in Agile/SAFe environment and participate in SCRUM ceremonies

Do you fit the profile?

• Primary skills
  • B.E, MCA, MSc, or equivalent training in Computer Science or other relevant subject area
  • Experience –  7 plus years of Industry Experience
  • Good working experience in Maximo – support, development, and customization
  • IBM Maximo plant maintenance version 7.6 and higher
  • Good exposure to Windows and Linux OS
  • Good working experience with Maximo Integration
  • Good working experience with Oracle
  • Good working experience with Java
  • Good working experience with Java script/Python/Jython  
  • Good working experience with Maximo Mobile/Maximo Anywhere
  • Good working experience with Shell scripting
  • Worked in SAFe/Agile environment
  • Added advantage Certified IBM Maximo manage
