APAC Information Security Officer

This role is within our Digital APAC Security team, which is to build the shared information security service among within all APAC region; the mission is to protect our valuable intangible asset (data & information) and key IT systems, and to protect our critical customer information.  It is the mission critical role by giving the increasing challenge of cyber threat and law and regulation requirements.
Job purpose: 
With the minimal supervisory of line manager, you will be responsible for many security areas, including partnership with security-critical department to build the solid cyber-secured environment, deploy different technical solution to mitigate most critical risks, or implement administrative control to fulfil management team & employee exception.

You will work very close to a lot of departments, including but not limited, group Digital Cybersecurity team, local Digital team, Sale & Marketing, R&D, HR, vendor/supplier.
 

Main job requirements/ responsibilities: 
- Serve as the security lead in the plan, design and implementation phase of Technology & Digital products to meet security requirements, address identified security gaps in on-premise and cloud-based solution.
- Serve as the security expert across security architecture functional areas: Application Security, Infrastructure Security, Security Monitoring, Operation Security, Container Security, Web Application Firewall (WAF), vulnerability Management, OT security. 
- Develop security test plans and integrate into the software development lifecycle.
- Achieves security architecture compliance on requirements, including but not limited to GDPR, China Cyber Security Law, MLPS, as well as any national regulations. 
- Build the rational security dashboard and KPI to help stakeholder easily understand status and priority.
- Complete all cyber-risk related mitigation actions.
- Improve employee security awareness by different programs,
- Setup/align with security service.
- Setup/align/implement security process, like security incident response.

Job qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required,

5+ years' experience in security management; 3+ years’ experience in global, Fortune 500 organization or similar high scale, multinational environment

3 years of experience as security project manager, architecture, or similar role

Experience in security technical scanning, SDL, technical assessment will be a plus

Professional certification like PMP, ITIL, ISO27001 LA, CISSP, CISA, and CISM will be a plus
